Hi crafty friends! It’s Cheryl on the blog today with this super fun mini album featuring the new Just Beachy collection.
Everything about this collection is pretty! The colours, icons, papers… it’s all so pretty! Creating this mini album was so nice and made me happy! I wanted to document photos from a trip to sunny Portugal from a couple of years ago and it honestly felt as if this collection was made for my photos!!!
I wanted a beach theme on my front cover and found this amazing wave icon on one of the 6x8 papers, which I then fussy cut. I layered palm trees from the big bits pack behind my wave, as well as a little stitched piece for a little bit of texture. The chipboard titles Beach Day are so perfect for my pictures I am documenting!
I went with a 6x5 Inch wire bound album - the front and back piece are made of chipboard with patterned paper covering it for more stability. I used a lot of the cut apart sheets for different sized pages in my album. I love doing that, as it adds so much interested to a mini album. I have decorated each page with most of the embellishments from the collection. The foam sticker words are perfect to add to any page!
I know it’s only Spring, but this collection has made me excited for the summer! It’s so bright and colorful and working with it has put a big smile on my face. If you have any summer/beach photos to document, you will want to get your hands on Just Beachy!!
