Hello everyone!
It’s Mik here from Papermiks on the blog today sharing a new flipbook inspiration using the lovely Happily Ever After collection.
I got married in 2008 and I have a lot of pictures that were taken by friends that I never used. When I saw the Happily Ever After collection, I was sure it was perfect for making a new wedding album for me, now using the photos taken by the people I love, of the happiest moment of my life.
Remembering that moment, now with the Happily Ever After collection, made me so happy!
Come with me and I'll show you how it turned out.
Today I chose the 6x8 Black Flipbook to make my wedding album.
I started using a 6” x 8” paper from paper pad and gluing it on the front cover, then one piece of “Romance” paper to make my background. I separated a frame and added a 3x4 card that you can find on 3x4 elements papers.
I decorated my cover using foam stickers, journal bits, brads, chipboards and enamel dots. The dimension they give is wonderful and brings a very special touch to the project.
I love to make interactive pages. So, to allow the pocket page to interact with the paper page I removed two pockets from the first page.
And I made the second page smaller than the others, so they can interact.
I love to use washis to décor the pages, as you can see here.
The puffy stickers are perfect to adding to the photos and I love them!
Do you prefer to glue the stickers on the photo or on the plastic of the pockets pages?
I like to glue on the plastics. So, if I decide to change the photo, it won’t change the decoration of the page.
Adding paper pages is so fun. I really love to make them.
I had a lot of fun creating this album. Happily ever after is a lovely collection. I'm sure that will help you document your wedding photos in a happy and easy way.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day!
