Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m beyond excited to share a project that completely stole my heart! If you, like me, love a touch of nostalgia and all things cute, you’re going to adore the Classic Pooh Collection. With its vintage charm and the sweetest Pooh bear, this collection brings back childhood memories in the most delightful way. I couldn’t resist creating something special—a mini album with a unique closure and a handmade bag to store it!
Let’s start with the bag! Instead of a traditional album cover, I decided to craft a little paper bag using patterned papers from the collection. It’s fully decorated with layered elements on the front, has sturdy handles attached with eyelets, and serves as the perfect home for my mini album.
Now, let’s talk about the mini album itself! I wanted a design that was simple yet charming, so I used a mix of 4x6-inch cards and other sizes to create the pages. To bind them, I punched holes and added eyelets for extra durability. But here’s my favorite part—the closure! Instead of a traditional ring, wire or ribbon, I used knitting stitch markers to hold everything together. It’s such a creative and fun detail that adds a unique touch to the project!
Of course, no album is complete without embellishments! I layered bits and pieces, stickers, enamel dots, and lots of sweet details from the Classic Pooh collection. The warm color palette and vintage illustrations make every page feel cozy and full of personality. Whether you’re documenting childhood memories or simply celebrating the love for all things cute, this collection is pure perfection.
