Let's get started!
To make your cover page stand out, start by using the reverse side of the paper with the dark green background filled with holly leaves and berries. This will provide a beautiful frame for your album, leaving about 1/8" all around. Next, add a chipboard frame in the center for extra dimension, and embellish it with layered foam and stickers from the sticker book. This will give your album a unique and personalized touch.
To represent the 25 days of Christmas, use the bits and pieces of Christmas numbers to add a decorative and functional element to your album. This will also help you stay organized as you document 25 special stories, recipes, or things that you love about the holiday season. Whether it's your family's favorite holiday recipe, a cherished memory with loved ones, or your favorite Christmas tradition, this album will be a beautiful keepsake that you can treasure for years to come.
Inside the album, you will find that I have used the 10 pocket pages that come with the Sn@p Album. However, I have also added a couple of extra pages to suit my requirements. To begin with, I went through the 12"X12" papers and started cutting them to fit inside the pockets. After that, I decided which pages I wanted to follow each other.
As an example of adding extra pages, I inserted a journaling card from the journaling elements in between the first and third pages. I also adore adding sprinkles, and sequin mixes, and creating flip-up pages to generate a peek-a-boo effect.
Another one of my favorite techniques is adding tags to cardstock paper, as you can see on day 5. I adore the tags and complete them with ribbons, brads, or enamel dots. I love the interactive appearance of this technique, and it looks incredibly cute.
An additional great touch that I love to add is the pom pom trim to the edges of the pages throughout the album. It adds a fun and playful element to the pages and makes them stand out.
On page 9, I added some stitching and created another flip-up page on a 6X8 pocket. Additionally, I added a large title "Very Merry" with a tulle bow, which adds a beautiful touch to the page.
I always focus on creating a cute little cluster on every page, leaving ample space for my journaling or photos. This technique adds a lovely touch to the pages and makes them look organized and visually appealing.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my Boho Christmas Collection album. I hope you found it inspiring and helpful. I can't wait to see what you create using this collection! Please let us know what you think about the album in the comments below. I look forward to coming back soon with another crafty project!
