Addy Paramo

My name is Addy ( Chic Planner Girl). Mom to three energetic amazing boys. Born and raised in California. Did four years of active duty in the Marines and am now a Marine Reserves. I have been a crafter and planning since a very young age. I love all things floral, stationery and just anything that lets me use my creative side. As a planner addict I love trying all the many layouts, and knowing I can keep all my plans well organized. As a busy mom planning has been crucial for our lives not only to keep organize and have time management but also as a creative outlook. I am also able to use my creative side by decorating my planner and even memory keep while I am planning. This has been huge for me because I love memory keeping and scrapbooking but with three little boys it is impossible to get done, but doing it in my planner has become so much easier and has the same satisfaction so I absolutely love my planners.

Andrea Bethke

Hi! My name is Andrea Bethke, and I'm a Latina who lives in sunny SoCal with my Prince Charming of a hubby, Ryan, and my adorable puppy, Leeloo! I have a serious condition called CRPS which causes constant pain and limited mobility, and so creating has become a very important outlet in my life and a true blessing from God that helps me get through the struggle. I love scrapbooking and papercrafting and planner-ing and just making in general, and feel that all acts of creativity help the soul to flourish even in the most difficult of circumstances! I am particularly drawn to making mini albums. They are the perfect way to document important stories and emotions in our life, in a way that has a beginning, a middle, and an end. I think story telling is an essential element in everyday life. When we document our own lives through memory keeping we help shape the person we want to be and the life we want to live and also how we wish to be remembered! My motto is to live “life as a fairytale” – which is basically all about being the heroine of my own story and writing my own happily ever after, one memorable, beautiful, and real moment at a time. I go by “fairytale scrapbook” on Instagram and YouTube and I think that gives a hint as to my scrappy style – which is basically filled with whimsy! I am all about the magic, the wonder, “once upon a time”, unicorns and princesses, and dreams coming true! I am a huge fan of Disney and that look and sensibility, and I am also a big fan of vintage, and I think both those things really influence my style and get mixed in with modern trends that I like, to create my signature look! I am so thrilled to be a part of the Simple Stories team, and I cannot wait to start sharing with you my everyday-magical stories using the beautiful Simple Stories product!

Brenda Smith

Brenda found scrapbooking in 2010 when her oldest was 4 months old. She had tried her hand at many other crafts and nothing stuck until making that first scrapbook layout. Since then, she has dabbled in many forms of scrapbooking including making cards, mixed media, digital/hybrid, planners, etc., but was instantly smitten with pocket page layouts and has been making them since 2013. Brenda has been published a handful of times in magazines including Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, and Cards and has had the pleasure of working as a design team member for many different teams throughout the industry. She scrapbooks to remember the little moments shared with her 5 year old daughter, 3 year old son, and husband of 8 years.

Chantalle McDaniel

I have always had a love affair with paper. A Graphic Designer originally from South Africa, I have been intoxicated with Scrapbooking since 2010 after creating a keepsake gift for my Sister’s 30th birthday. Scrapping for me, is a joyful creative release and serves as an important way to tell my two young children stories about our lives together. Especially those everyday things that can so easily be forgotten! I enjoy adding interactive elements to my projects and I love learning new techniques. I’ve had the honour of being on some wonderful creative teams and having my work published in both print and online publications. Looking forward to new typefaces, good coffee and crafty adventures in 2016!
