Alexandra is a Franco-American scrapbooker, card-maker and PLer! She has three children, a daughter who teaches in England, a son who will be graduating from McGill's in Montréal in 2016 and a pre-teen at home which is Chicago. Her work has been published both in magazines and books in the US, in the UK, in Australia and in France. She fell in love with stamping first and now for the past five years has been recording her family's daily life in two types of albums, a 12 by 12" and an 8 by 8". She believes in recording the good and the bad, mundane events as well as world news. Her philosophy is to embrace it all with enthusiasm and an open heart. She hopes that future generations will enjoy flipping through her pocket pages but if they don't that's ok too because making them has rewarded her with a sharper sense of how fleeting time is. Besides scrapbooking, cardmaking, photography, and baking, alexandra enjoys traveling, walking, getting to know other cultures, wine from Burgundy, picnics, summers and swallows.
Allie Stewart lives in a suburb of Portland, Oregon with her husband, Michael, and their sweet, one-eyed, blind dog Teddy. Allie has been scrapbooking since 2006, when she was hired at a paper store for an after school job. After taking a crafting hiatus in college, she moved in to her own space and was able to pick it up again. Since then, she has been on many design teams such as Chickaniddy Crafts, Elle's Studio, The Cut Shoppe, and Clique Kits. When she isn't scrapbooking, you might find her happily serving coffee at Starbucks, reading a good book, or watching Doctor Who with her husband.
Brenda found scrapbooking in 2010 when her oldest was 4 months old. She had tried her hand at many other crafts and nothing stuck until making that first scrapbook layout. Since then, she has dabbled in many forms of scrapbooking including making cards, mixed media, digital/hybrid, planners, etc., but was instantly smitten with pocket page layouts and has been making them since 2013. Brenda has been published a handful of times in magazines including Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, and Cards and has had the pleasure of working as a design team member for many different teams throughout the industry. She scrapbooks to remember the little moments shared with her 5 year old daughter, 3 year old son, and husband of 8 years.
I have always had a love affair with paper. A Graphic Designer originally from South Africa, I have been intoxicated with Scrapbooking since 2010 after creating a keepsake gift for my Sister’s 30th birthday. Scrapping for me, is a joyful creative release and serves as an important way to tell my two young children stories about our lives together. Especially those everyday things that can so easily be forgotten! I enjoy adding interactive elements to my projects and I love learning new techniques. I’ve had the honour of being on some wonderful creative teams and having my work published in both print and online publications. Looking forward to new typefaces, good coffee and crafty adventures in 2016!

When I'm not busy chasing crazy little girls I enjoy reading, binge watching Netflix and dreaming about chocolate, paper or washi tape!

Hello! My name is Laura Whitaker; I live in Ontario, Canada in a tiny lakeside community with my husband. We have three sons, two of which are grown and live on their own and one that is at home with us. My passion for scrapbooking and papercrafting began about fifteen years ago and is still going strong! Through scrapbooking, I feel I can accomplish two things; a family memory album (or many) and an outlet for my creative side. I love that this is such a social hobby and feel blessed to have made many friends through scrapbooking. I love layers of patterned papers, embellishments of any type, creating sketches and playing with my Silhouette software. I am elated to be joining the Simple Stories team and look forward to sharing my creations with you!

My name is Leah and although growing up as a Navy dependent took me to a lot of places, I currently call Virginia my home. I am newly married and my husband and I are the loving parents of an adventurous cat named Minerva who really loves getting crafty with me. I have a very strong passion for creativity in all forms! Since I was a child, one of my favorite things to do has been creating crafty gifts for family and friends. I rarely kept my projects for myself until I discovered a love for creative planning. My planner goes with me everywhere and has become a fun way to document my life as it is unfolding. I also scrapbook and create mixed media art, so I enjoy using those techniques on my planner pages. My decorating style usually incorporates lots of fun colors, doodling and creative lettering. I am very goal-oriented and nothing motivates me more than opening my planner and finding beautiful visual inspiration to keep me going!
Photography and documenting stories have always been important to Lori. She started scrapbooking when she was in high school, because her photographer father was always taking photos of her and her siblings. She would help her father develop photos in their basement dark room and loved watching the images come to life as they developed. When Lori had her first child, she was introduced to Creating Keepsakes magazine and her storytelling and scrapbooking habit became an addiction. Lori later was lucky enough to work for Creating Keepsakes as the online managing editor where she met so many wonderful people who loved memory keeping as much as she did. She is now the Marketing Manager at Simple Stories where she creates projects, teaches, and works with all things marketing. Lori has 5 awesome kids she adores and you can typically find her spending time with them or at one of their sporting events.
Hello, My name is Marcia. I am married to the most wonderful guy and we live in Minnesota (where winters are way too long and summers are way too short). We have three adult kids. Our oldest just finished college and got married! I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years. My scrapbooking evolved out of a love for photography. In fact, I used to be a wedding photographer! Besides my love for all forms of paper crafting, I have a soft side when it comes to cute, furry animals which I suppose is a good thing since I am a stray magnet. Currently in residence is the family dog Satchel, and 3 cats; Delta, Spook, and Xena (my latest stray acquisition). I do have a 9-5 job working as a software engineer. Yup, I am a nerd. In my free time (when not playing with paper), you will find me in my garden, cooking, sewing, or out for a walk with my dog.
