Shei García Peña's Blog Posts

Hi there!  It’s Shei here today. I’m so happy to be back on the blog sharing two layouts.  Let’s get started!

For my first layout I decided to work with the amazing “Faith” collection.

I started with a white cardstock as my background ‘cause I like the brightness that the white color brings to the whole project. To add color I used the “belive” b-side paper. I cut it in three parts and I created the background with them.

I used a very sweet pic, hahaha! I like very much cupcakes and I love chocolate, so you can know which was my cupcake…

Next came my favorite part: the embellishing! For that I used some flowers from 6x12 chipboard and from Combo Sticker. I also added a few enamel dots and some decorative brads to give dimension to my layout.

The next layout I’m sharing with you today was again created with the beautiful “Faith” collection.

I started cutting a very big picture of me and my husband, hand in hand, on our wedding day in Las Vegas. I cut it in 12 pieces and I glued them like a puzzle on the “Hope” b-side paper.

Then I glued the paper on a white cardstock and I rolled two corners, so you can see the other side of the paper (so beautiful!).

I titled this layout “love” using the word from the 6x12 chipboard. Then, I added many embellishments ‘cause it’s very difficult to choose only one of the beautiful Simple Stories’s embellishments. I love all of them!!

So I used the heart from the decorative clips, some hearts, arrows and sentences from the combo stickers, more hearts and the ballons from the 6x12 chipboard and some decorative brads like the house or the feather. Finally, to give a bit more dimension to my project, I added some enamel dots of different colors, and that's all!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! I hope you enjoyed my layouts!

Never stop smiling! Kisses!!

It’s Shei here today. I’m so happy to be back on the blog sharing two layouts. Let’s get started!

For my layouts I used the beautiful Domestic Bliss collection, I love the colors of this line!

To create my first layout I was inspired by the cute tricoloured heart included in the combo sticker. I started with a white cardstock as a background and I cut a heart contour in the middle of it. Behind the heart I used the “Domestic Diva” double-sided paper and one photo of my cat to form the three parts of the heart.

For the title I used the word "LOVE" from the Expression Combo Sticker and I glued it at the bottom of the picture.

Then, I added enamel dots and some pharses, flowers and hearts from the Combo Sticker, the 6x12 Chipboard and the Bits & Pieces. I love all the embellishments!!

Finally, I added the original heart sticker with some enamel dots and words at the bottom left of the page.

My second LO is dedicated to naps. During the week I'm working and I can't take naps, but at the weekends I enjoy taking long naps on the sofa. My cat always does this with me as you can see in the picture, hahaha!

First, I used the white polka dot paper ("I can't Adult" b-side) as the page's background. Next, I chose three frames with different sizes from the 3x4 Journaling Card Elements and the 4x6 Vertical and Horizontal Elements. Then I created another three frames with some papers (Bless This Mess b-side and Mom Rules b-side) in which I have include the photo, a chipboard house and a heart brad. Finally, I "hanged" them on the LO using some colored baker twines and enamel dots as if it was a home wall.

I used the word “HOME” in my tittle from the 6x12 chipboard. I like it ‘cause it gives more dimension to the project. To finish I added some hearts of different colors and pharses from the Combo Sticker.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! I hope you enjoyed my layouts! See you next month!

Supplies

Hi there!  It’s Shei here today. I’m so happy to be back on the blog sharing two layouts.  Let’s get started!

For my first layout I decided to work with the fun and colorful #Whatever Simple Set.

I chose white cardstock as my background and I glued on it some journaling cards from the “3x4 & 4x6 Journaling Card Elements” paper.

I used a picture of my sleeping cat. It’s always sleeping, so all these journaling cards that represent lazy moments are perfect for this project.

In this collection you can find two sheets from each paper/pattern. So I used one to glue the journaling cards and the other to cut some details like letters or the color ink stains. Then I glued these little details with 3D foam squares to give more dimension to the layout.

Furthermore, I sewed some details in different journaling cards: a yellow heart, a black line across the colorful ink stains and a white dashed line frame around the “Namaste” card.

Finally, I glued some stickers from the “6x12 Sticker” to put the icing on the cake.

For my second layout I chose the fun and colorful “#Whatever Simple Set again. I started with the “#nailedit” as my background. I’m totally in love with this paper!!

I’ve used a cool a black and white photo of me and my bestie. I like use black and white pics when the collection is very colorful.

I glued a white strip to focus attention on the pic and all the embellisments and to bring more brightness to the whole project.

I’ve titled my layout “#Wathever” using the word from the “6x12 Sticker”. The flowers, the stars, the heart, the arrows, the ampersand and the other embellisments are from the “6x12 Sticker” too.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! I hope you enjoyed my layouts! See you next month!
